Mr. Melvin Harold Maxwell, age 82, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at his home in Climax, Georgia.
Melvin Harold Maxwell was born May 21, 1942, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Monroe Maxwell and Lena Hammett Maxwell. He spent his life in Decatur County. Harold was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He enjoyed gardening. Harold worked as a technician for air conditioning and heating units and was a hard worker. He loved being around children and adored animals. From eggs, he raised every sort of fowl. Harold was generous and kind. He will be greatly missed.
Harold Maxwell is survived by his wife, Sylvia White Maxwell, his siblings, Wayne Maxwell and Ann Lou Quigg, and his special friend, Stephen Tucker.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, James Julian Maxwell, Zerom Monroe Maxwell, Helen Maxwell Combie, Carolyn Maxwell Thomas, Eugene Gene Maxwell, and William Clyde Maxwell.
