Sandy Kelly Bridges was born January 19, 1970, in Albany, GA, the son of Robert & Mary Trammell Bridges. He attended Bainbridge High School. In 1994, Sandy married Kimberly Howell. He retired from Jacksonville Sound opting for the slower pace of South Georgia he loved. Sandy was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Sandy was that kid always into something outside. His passions continued into adulthood with hunting and fishing at the top of the list. A close-knit family was all he knew with a “one for all and all for one” attitude. For Sandy, some family was chosen. He loved each one for who they were and made it clear he was down for any adventure, activity, or project that may come up.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Kimberly M. Bridges; his children, Dawn Alday (Stanley) of Vada and Kelli Bridges of Tallahassee; his grandchildren, Allison, Emily, Ethan, and AJ; his great-grandchild, Nova; his mother, Mary Bridges; his siblings, Debra Jean McClure (Wayne) of Elijay, Vickie Kearse, Edie Bridges, and Wendy Conyers (Joe) all of Brinson; and several nieces & nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Bridges.
