Inspector Notes: 13 (1): Observed two dead roaches in Room 122’s bathroom–one on floor near sink, one in shower. Owner removed dead roaches. Owner stated that room has not be rented in some time. Advised owner that all rooms even though they have not been rented should be periodically checked and cleaned as needed. Observed live roach in night stand drawer in Room 127. Drawer was cleaned outside of the room by owner. Owner stated room has also not been rented for several weeks. Owner is to contact pest control for inspection and service by 9/13/24.

Owner cleaned toilet at time of inspection. Instructed owner that every surface of a bathtub, shower, shower enclosure, toilet and lavatory, which may come in contact with a person’s body, must be cleaned and sanitized each day, and after every guest occupancy. Instructed owner to discuss with housekeeping person who helps to clean rooms.
