Terri Clayton was born March 13, 1951, in Sylvester, GA, the daughter of Warren Everette Clayton & Lela Cortez “Tez” Clayton. She married Keith Faircloth in 1996, and they made their home between Bainbridge and Sylvester. In 2022, Terri packed Keith up and headed back to Bainbridge. She worshipped at New Life at Lake Seminole Church of God.

To know Terri was to love her…or not…didn’t much matter to her. She did her own thing her own way. She was the self-designated boss of most everything. And if you doubted that, all you had to do was ask.

Terri enjoyed live music and dancing the night away. Occasions called for boots which suited her just fine. (She had a pair for whatever might come up.) Baseball was one of her favorite pastimes, and she rarely missed a ballgame when one of hers was playing. Family, blood kin and chosen, were loved 100% unconditionally and had Terri as “back-up” if things went awry.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Keith Faircloth; her children, Kyle Basko and Adrienne Hobby (Tracy), all of Sylvester, Will Basko (Holly) of McDonough, Trey Faircloth (Christian) of Bainbridge, and Kyle Faircloth (Kayla) of Colquitt; her grandchildren, Drew & Savanna, Madison & Tripp, Kate, Savannah, Hunter, Mitchell, Linton, Fisher, Preston, Payson, Anna & Auburn, and Emily & Donoven; her four great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Vanesa Milliron. Terri was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Pam Thomas.

Bryant Funeral Home, located at 105 N. Florida Street, is assisting the family with arrangements. (229-246-3321)
