Mr. Edwin Charles Bailey, age 58, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. Services for Mr. Bailey will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2024, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home in Bainbridge, Georgia.
Edwin Charles Bailey was born July 15, 1965, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Charles Bailey and Annie Bell Lawrence Bailey. His parents have preceded him in death. Edwin was a hard working man. He worked with Anderson Manufacturing and was a talented fabricator. A real “Mr. Fix-it”, he was always working with his hands. He was also like a “MacGyver” because when he finished it always worked. Edwin loved to fish. He was a great fan of rock music and coffee. He liked to teach others how to do jobs or repair things. Edwin was willing to talk to anyone, anywhere, he loved to talk. His children and family were his heart. He dearly loved each of them. His death was very unexpected and heartbreaking for his family who loved him so very much. Edwin Bailey will be sorely missed.
Mr. Edwin Charles Bailey is survived by his children, Hope Bailey (Alex) of Cairo, Georgia and Mason Bailey (Lesley) of Thomasville, Georgia; his sisters, Shellie Anderson (Jonathan) of Vada, Georgia and Hazel Davis (Ricky) of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; and four nieces and nephews.
