Inspector Notes: Observed barrier and entry gate hinges were not secure causing gate to fall down and remain open. Self-closer on gate was also busted causing it to be inoperable. See pictures. No one was at Park office at time of inspection. Posted pool closed signage and wire-tied gate shut to prevent access to the pool. Texted owner, David Brantly upon returning to office. Brantly called back discussed gate issue. Barrier/gate is a critical violation and pool must be closed until gate and self-closer is repaired and operable. Brantly stated he will correct and call back for reinspection on 9/15/22, or 9/19/22.

Emergency phone is a critical violation and pool must be closed until emergency phone has been replaced and operable. Brantly stated that he had problems with kids using the phone even though it was for emergency use. Brantly stated he will replace the phone and call back for reinspection on 9/15/22, or 9/19/22.

Inspector Notes: Reviewed pool records from contracted, CPO Robert Langston. Pool records and safety checks are not being completed as required by Pool Rules. Have previously sent owner/operator a letter outlining expectations regarding record keeping and chemical checks. CPO is only performing chemical checks once a day. There are is no self-check, pool correction documents and similar on file; only minimum chemical check off sheet. Facility does not have a responsible person performing required duties in absence of CPO. Owner/operator and CPO are to review swimming pools Rules regarding chemical checks, record keeping, responsible person requirements and begin proper record keeping and documentation immediately.
