On April 30, 2021, at approximately 2002 hours, Trooper Jacob Sanchez was assisting Decatur County Deputies with a license check point. Trooper Sanchez asked a vehicle to pull to the shoulder of the road to initiate a traffic stop. Trooper Sanchez advised Corporal Jordan Phillips that the driver of the vehicle, Davon Dickerson, had an Active Warrant out of the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office for a Failure to Appear. Cpl. Phillips transported Dickerson to the Decatur County Jail.

On Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1848 hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Investigator (Inv.) Vincent Edmond was on duty and located in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. Inv. Edmond was participating with the Georgia State Patrol (GSP) in a supervisor approved road check located at Highway 253/Newton Road near Mile Marker 18. Inv. Edmond arrested Tina Jones, for Driving on a Suspended License.

On April 30, 2021, at approximately 2253 hours, Deputy (Dep.) Patrick Wilkinson and Sergeant (Sgt.) Chris Jackson responded to 1011 East Broughton Street, in reference to a Warrant check. Upon arrival, contact was made with the offender, Richard Toliver. Sgt. Jackson ran Toliver’s information through Decatur-Grady 911, where it was confirmed that a Probation Warrant had been issued for the arrest of Toliver, out of Miller County Sheriff’s Office. Dep. Wilkinson then placed Toliver under arrest.
