On Monday, April 12, 2021, in the afternoon hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) Investigator (Inv.) Vincent Edmond was on duty and located in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. At 1333 hours, Inv. Edmond heard Decatur-Grady E911 dispatch a call of an Assault, that happened at 3250 Cooktown Road, in Decatur County, Georgia. E911 advised that a 62-year-old female had been assaulted by another female and that windows are busted out of a vehicle.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 1642 hours, Corporal Timothy Fowler responded to Bainbridge Memorial Hospital, in reference to a Warrant Check. Upon arrival, Cpl. Fowler made contact with Johnny Feaster. The nurse supervisor of the day shift at the ER advised Decatur Grady 911 that the subject was walking out the hospital. Cpl. Fowler ran Mr. Feaster by name and date of birth where it come back to Feaster being Wanted out of Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, for a Failure to Appear on a Traffic Violation. Cpl. Fowler escorted Feaster to his patrol vehicle where he was later transported to Decatur County Jail for processing.

On April 10, 2021, at approximately 2351 hours, Corporal Jordan Phillips was dispatched to the area of 224 North Main Street, in Attapulgus, Georgia, in reference to a Suspicious male, later identified as Paul Jones, walking in the yards of residences. Upon arrival in the area, Cpl. Phillips was stopped by a citizen who stated that the male subject was hiding in the bushes at the residence of 401 Cox Avenue. Cpl. Phillips advised Jones that he was under arrest. Cpl. Phillips transported Jones to the Decatur County Jail. Jones was booked for the charges of Obstruction of an officer, Public Drunkenness, and Prowling.
