On 10/23/2020, at approximately 2200 hours, Lt. Presilla was dispatched to Brinson Graveyard at Dothan Road, cross Yates Spring Road. Lt. Presilla arrived at approximately 2230 and spoke with the complainant, Gerry Ceasor, who stated he was traveling east on Dothan Hwy coming though Brinson. Ceasor stated a couple days before he left his 1999 Honda Accord at Brinson Graveyard due to it breaking down. Ceasor stated as he was driving by the graveyard, he saw a vehicle and a couple of people standing by it. Inv. Mobley placed Hoskins under arrest for Damage to property.

On Friday, October 23, 2020, at approximately 1230 hours, Deputy Ariel Thomas responded to Decatur County Landfill, at 104 Mine Loop Road, in reference to power lines being down. Upon arrival, Deputy Thomas made contact with the Complainant James Doyle whom is an employee at the landfill. Doyle told Deputy Thomas that a driver from The City of Chattahoochee was driving the landfill and knocked down a powerline. Doyle said it wasn’t a problem that the power lines could be fixed, but The City of Chattahoochee was requesting that a report be made.

On Thursday, October 22, 2020, at approximately 1141 hours, Deputy Timothy Fowler responded to 2997 Spring Creek Road, Brinson, Ga., in reference to a Welfare Check called into Decatur County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Deputy Timothy Fowler made contact with a concerned citizen, who stated that she was traveling south down Spring Creek Road/ State Route 253, when an eighteen-wheeler semi swerved in front of her to keep from hitting two young children that had been playing in the middle of the right lane.
