511-3-5-.23(5)(b) – (b) during operation, the ph is less than the minimum or more than the maximum levels allowed in dph rule 511-3-5-.l7.

Inspector Notes: Observed pH reading of 8.0. Checked two times with EH equipment and YMCA equipment. PH of 8.0 is too high. Maximum is 7.8. Lifeguard on duty voluntarily shut pool down and is to call CPO to address pH level in pool. Level is to be between 7.2-7.8. YMCA or CPO is to call EH back for reinspection prior to opening pool for use.

15 – depth and no diving markers, step marking; installed and contrasting

511-3-5-.18(3)(h) – (h) depth markers number and letters shall be tile and four inches minimum in height. numbers shall be of contrasting color to the background on which they are applied.

Inspector Notes: Observed required “No Diving” at pool edge very worn; almost cannot read. “No Diving” is to be repainted at pool edge no later than three days.

Inspector Notes: Observed two shelves in women’s shower had broken/missing tile on the shower floor near drain runoff. Tile needs to be replaced within 14 days. Broken tile could become a safety hazard.
