At 74 years of age, Mattie Mae Harmon, born July 26th 1945, passed away peacefully at home in Cusseta, Ga, on May 14th 2020. Mae was a retired Registered Nurse of 33 years, born, and raised in Bainbridge, Ga. She was a Christian who loved Jesus and loved her family. Mae thoroughly enjoyed being a “GG”, which stood for Great Grandmother.
Mae Harmon is preceded in death by her Mother, Fannie Mae Kent Tomlinson; father, Edger Tomlinson; brother, Will Daniel Tomlinson; daughter, Virginia Diane Haines; and great-granddaughter, Hartlie Diane Moore. She is survived by two daughters, Toni (John) Moore and Richelle (Carl) Genco; three grand-daughters, Rachael Howard, Robyn Moore, and Brittany Genco; four grandsons, Carl (April) Haines, Anthony Genco, John Moore, and Seth Kautz; and three great-granddaughters, Adelyn Wiley, Karlly Haines and Hailoh Rodriguez.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no public service, however, she will be laid to rest in the Beulah Thomas Church Cemetery in her hometown of Bainbridge, Ga. Cox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. On-line condolences may be sent to at www.Coxfuneral.net.
