Huddle House Eyes Bainbridge for Expansion with Proposed Site

ATLANTA – Huddle up Bainbridge: Huddle House is coming to town.

America’s iconic Southern diner franchise, Huddle House, announced today that it is spreading its adored small-town charm in Bainbridge with plans to open a new location in the area. To simplify the opening process, the brand has fast tracked development and identified a potential site for interested franchisees in Bainbridge.

“We’ve fought hard in 2020 to maintain our place in our communities and be a spot that locals can depend on, no matter what. Now we see Bainbridge as the logical next step in resuming our growth strategy,” said Tim Linderman, Chief Development Officer of Huddle House. “To take it a step further, our real estate team has already identified a site, which should save substantial time in getting a Huddle House restaurant up and running and serving the community as soon as possible.”

The proposed Huddle House site is located between S. Boulevard Dr. and E. Shotwell St. The site in Bainbridge has already been identified and should shorten the development timeline for the future franchisee.

Huddle House restaurants have earned widespread admiration in their communities for their warm, friendly atmospheres where every conversation, sip of coffee and bite of home-cooked meals are savored. Known for its round-the-clock breakfast, Southern hospitality and big portions at fair prices, Huddle House embeds itself into every community by bringing friends and families together over delicious food, served from the heart.

“We’re proud to have maintained our neighborhood, hometown vibe while also adapting to the needs of our communities during this challenging time. Most importantly, as Georgia has eased restrictions, we have been able to safely and quickly reopen dining rooms to better serve our customers,” added Linderman. “The pandemic showed our ability to adapt and establish Huddle House as a strong investment. Whether you want cash flow investments or business opportunities to grow your portfolio, opening a full-service restaurant franchise in Bainbridge is a great move.”

The presence of franchises like Huddle House in Georgia, with strong appeal to Southern diners, makes it easier to get into the business, in addition to Huddle House’s history in the South, with over 400 locations operating currently or that are in development for the future.

Based in Atlanta, the brand has a strong presence in the South and is planning to continue its expansion into select regions, which includes Bainbridge. Huddle House provides an attractive franchise investment on several levels as franchisees benefit from extensive support from the start, tap into the breakfast demand at any time of the day (70 percent of Huddle House sales come from breakfast items, which tend to have the largest margins) and leverage the concept’s new store design that is proven to driver higher sales. With momentum on its side, Huddle House has become a highly-coveted franchise investment for skilled operators.

Tailored to owners and operators who are looking to engrain themselves into their community or diversify investments by expanding their portfolios into the restaurant industry, the Huddle House franchise model provides structure and scalability without requiring previous restaurant experience.

  1. Who ever wrote this article obviously never checked Google Earth to find South Boulevard Drive and East Shotwell Street. The two streets intersect and do not run parallel as the article leads you to believe. The is a Pizza Hut and a Burger King on the southern sides of that intersection. On the Northern side, you have a car dealership on one side and a car wash on the other. The only place a Huddle House would look good and fit the property is on the Northwest corner of that intersection where the car wash is currently. That would place them right across the street from Burger King. The good thing about them coming is that they do not compete directly with Burger King or Pizza Hut on the other corner across Shotwell Street.

  2. We really need more eating places in West Bainbridge for all of the industries and small businesses located on the other side of town. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  3. We really need another steak house in the West Bainbridge area. A nice location would be across from Jones Mobile Homes lot on Dothan road. Cars traveling can exit there, get a meal and gas up at the Travel Center.

    1. WE NEED A HUDDLE HOUSE. WE REALLY NEED A PUBLIX. WE NEED A MOVIE THEATER. WE NEED A LONGHORN STEAK HOUSE.

      PLEASE…
