Ricky Eugene Howard

Mr. Ricky Eugene Howard, age 69, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020, at his home in Bainbridge, Georgia. No public services will be held.

Ricky Eugene Howard was born December 7, 1950 in Bainbridge, Georgia. His parents, Paul Howard and Sarah Earnest Howard, have preceded him in death. Ricky married Linda Lee Merritt Howard. They were married over 48 years, until her death in 2018. Ricky moved and set-up mobile homes. He was a simple man who worked hard to make certain he provided for his family. He always put others first. Ricky liked to fish and enjoyed riding on his tractor. You could often find him at the Truck Stop talking with his many friends. He was a loving father. Ricky Howard will be deeply missed by the family he loved so much and his many, many friends.

Ricky Howard is survived by his children, April Spriggs (Merle) of Valdosta, Georgia, Amy Scott (Charles) of Iron City, Georgia, Joey Howard of Bainbridge, Melinda Howard (Travis Lashley) of Colquitt, Georgia; brothers, Roy Howard and Bobby Howard (Frankie) all of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Brittany Howard, Courtney Deaton, Megan Scott (Gary Roach), Joey Howard, Jr., Anthony Deaton, and Philip Scott; great-grandchildren, Noah Trawick, Alexis Deaton, Dalton Baynard, Jonah Baynard, Kyleigh Shellhouse, Faith Howard, and Joey Howard, III. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Shirley Harrell; and great-grandson, Dakota Deaton.
