Lynne Babcock Burlison, 77, of Pineview, GA, formerly of Bainbridge, GA and Crawfordville, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lynne Babcock was born May 27, 1942 in Norwich, NY, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Byron Babcock. She married Stanley Elmer Burlison and they made their home in Crawfordville, FL. Lynne lived in Bainbridge for some time and moved to Pineview, GA in the last few years. She was Lutheran by faith.
Lynne was an avid reader, averaging 10-15 books per week. She had a soft spot for her feline friends and always seemed to attract a stray or two. Lynne loved her children and did not realize her heart could love any more until the grandchildren came along. Her life revolved around their comings and goings and she enjoyed hearing all about their daily activities.
Survivors include her children, David Weeks of Norwich, NY, Tommy Burlison of Tallahassee, FL, Michelle & Randy Hand of Bainbridge, GA, Christopher Burlison of Climax, GA and Chad & Shannon Burlison also of Tallahassee, FL; her grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, Chad and Ryan; and her great-grandchildren, Colton, Adelyn and Ava. In addition to her parents, Lynne was preceded in death by her husband, Stan “Butch” Burlison.
