Jesse Caleb Williams, 3 months, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019. Jesse was beautifully and wonderfully made and came into the earth very healthy at full term, but he suffered an anoxic brain injury due to his umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck and cutting off oxygen supply during his birth. Jesse was a miracle in many ways for surviving as long as he did with his incurable injury, and his family is extremely grateful for the 3 months they had with him.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford, Florida with Rev. Kyle Peddie officiating. A private interment will follow the service with Jordan Hicks and Kevin Moore serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. Jesse Caleb Williams was born December 26, 2018, in Tallahassee, FL, the son of Matthew and Joy Hicks Williams. Though his time on Earth was short, he brought joy to those who loved and cared for him. He brought many people to prayer and encouraged many in their faith, and his loved ones will continue to remember him as their “little warrior.” He will be buried next to his great grandparents, Branson and Virginia Minter, in Jakin Cemetery in Georgia.
Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Evangeline and Asher; his maternal grandparents, Rev. Dr. William and Mrs. Pamela Hicks; his paternal grandmother, Cynthia Minter Williams; and a large, loving extended family.

Prayers for your family. My daughter Alivia Beauman was born healthy December 27, 2013 she passed away March 3 2014 of SIDS. Devastating is what it is and I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. May God guide you all and stay strong yet gentle for his siblings.

I am so sorry for your loss. We too lost our beautiful baby twin girls four years ago this Thanksgiving at birth. My daughter and myself have to cope with the loss. All three angels will be in heaven to meet us. God bless you and your family.
