She earned her RN nursing pin from Darton College and a Bachelors of Nursing from Thomas University. Vicki retired from Memorial Hospital Nursing Staff. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Vicki had a heart for others. She put her family first but always made time to go the extra mile for her friends, her patients, and even strangers in need. Survivors include her children, Joe Grubbs, III and his wife, Melanie, of Bishop, GA, David J. Grubbs and his wife, Natalie, of Eldorendo, GA and Jordan Grubbs and his wife, Taylor, of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Jake, Amelia, Luciana, Caroline, Savannah and Fisher; and her siblings, Mark Morin of Bainbridge, GA, Polly Probert and her husband, Michael, also of Bainbridge and Victor Morin of Bangor, ME.
