A Positive Approach to Problems
If anyone hasn’t been paying attention, Decatur County Family Connection has continued to grow and spread its positive influence in more and more ways in our community. The approach is to work on the root of problems and through community partners providing a myriad of programs and projects including
Teen abstinence speakers
Child Abuse Prevention seminar
Hunger Prevention with the kids backpack program, food bank
Providing School Supplies
Helping with the mentoring program
Helping citizens prepare their income tax
Spearheading the juvenile delinquency forums
And now a Community Family Fun Day. Don’t we need more of these proactive events?
Before commenting an apology. I read this post and thought it was a good thing but did not necessarily have a comment. I noticed that people on this forum often comment on matters that affect them and ignore anything else, be it positive or negative. Keeping that in mind I would like to commend the organizers. Thank you for doing something when everyone else is usually talking about doing something.
