3 to 4 weeks ago, Public Safety caught Alex Smith stealing a couple of old tires from a local tire dealer in Bainbridge. The tire dealer said since it was old tires he did not want to press charges. If he had proceeded, this would have saved many other citizens from having their items stolen.
And
Last Saturday night, Deputy Efrain Beltran stopped Alex Smith on Dothan Road. In the back of his truck was a weedeater. Probably stolen, but whoever lost it did not report the serial number of the item and nothing could be done but let him proceed.

54 year old Alex Lamar Smith listed his address as 277 Old Boston Road, Thomasville.

In October of 2006, Alex and his son Mark Smith were arrested after a 60 year old Gadsden County woman saw them break into her shed and chased them into Georgia.”

I have a rental house next door to me which is owned by someone who I would assume was a decent person, but for the past 7 years there have been a string of drunks, morons, drug addicts, prostitutes, etc, in an out of the house. I live in a decent neighborhood, save for that and some other rental houses, why is it that I have to tolerate this garbage?

What is our world coming to when the well being of a child is soley based on the dollar bill. When you go to school for the medical profession the oath you take does not mention letting the idea of getting rich cloud your judgement or end your compassion.

I read this article about Rev. Bivins wanting help from the city to find a place for young men to go to on Sunday afternoons and one thing that really struck me as odd is the statement about government cannot contribute to anything religious based.

I honestly think it is pretty sad that just because people think there is a such thing as “separation of church and state” that they would rather these young men run the streets and waste their life away than try to help them and get them out of this horrible cycle. It makes it even worse that he’s already been to churches in the area and they won’t help. They may be misguided, confused, and seem hopeless men, but they are just that “MEN”.

what bainbridge need is more doctors.i had to go to thomasville to rhumotologist. all the doctors are full and not taking new patients. we need more doctors, my doctor left town and i do not have a doctor
