Now he votes yea for Healthcare so if you don’t have insurance you can be fined $250.000 and go to prison for 5 years (what happened to Liberty for all).

And did you hear medicare will be cut and there will be waiting lists for you. So if you voted for Bishop, he is not helping the poor people. You get to start paying taxes for this insurance you will get years from now in April.

I am just wondering if I’m the only one that knows there must be employees or someone in the company assisting in these Quick Buy robberies?? They seem to happen monthly or bi-monthly and no one has ever been caught to my knowledge. Am I missing something here?

What kind of community are we that we only have one person running for the office of Mayor? We talk about change and how we need to do something…yet we have let ourselves down again.

I am just curious, if in fact there are children witnessing acts of violence repeatedly, is DFACS not following up with the family? Very possibly they are and I am just out of the information loop.

Also, is it not possible to start requiring counseling as part of a sentence of Domestic Violence, completion of anger management program, …

Why would the very people who are being motivated by the community for their big game tomorrow night- FOOTBALL PLAYERS- not be allowed to participate in the Homecoming Parade? I don’t know who makes that decision, but I think it is ridiculous! What reason could they possibly have to deny our boys this 1 hour activity the day before the big game?

How does someone in a 45 MPH speed zone skid 75 feet then knock a surburban across 2 lanes into a parking lot?  Forget the seatbelt issue.

Is it just me, or are there others in our community who find it as difficult to receive good service as snapping a photo of Bigfoot at the boat basin?

I cannot recall the last time when I received good service in this town! Whether a retail store or a fast food chain, it’s always the same; no smile, no thank you, wrong orders, no “have a nice day”, no anything. It seems as if we the public are privileged to have these fine folks waiting on us, rather than these employees thankful that we are doing business with them!

As much as we request the Appalachee Correctional Institute to use their “Tracking Dogs” wouldn’t it be quicker and more resourceful to have our own tracking dogs for Decatur County and City usage? I know training cost money but seems would save at least a hour on every time they track someone? Could we use some of the K9 units that we already have ? Or is it true that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?
