Bainbridge Force is a local travel baseball team comprised of 9 year-old players. The three team coaches Paxton Poitevent, Trey Hawkins and Mike Conder put together a team that gave players the opportunity to make the step up to the next level of baseball competition.

Coaches and players soon learned that the competition was not just a “step-up” but consisted of the “best of the best” in 9-year-old play. They learned that survival in USSSA sanctioned tournaments demanded skill that could only be acquired through countless hours of practice, preparation, dedication and determination.

Since it's beginning a year ago, the team has played in area tournament locations from Valdosta and Tifton to Dothan, Quitman, Bainbridge, Leesburg, and Cairo. Rankings from these tournaments earned The Bainbridge Force an invitation to Final Four Championship Playoff in Hampton Georgia.

During the playoffs, the Force competed against teams ranked one, two and three by USSSA in the state of Georgia. Two of the teams were eliminated from play the first day of the championship playoff but the Force played dominating baseball and earned a berth in the championship game.

Bainbridge Force was a “force” to be reckoned with, but after all the dust had settled and the trophies had been presented, the ten 9 year-old boys that never stopped training, that never stopped wanting to get better, that never ever considered that they were guys who couldn't make it this far, came away ranked the number 2 team in the entire state of Georgia.

The Force is Quayde Hawkins, Jack Burke, Jack Hinson, Michael Conder, Conner Poitevent, Robbie McMillian , Will Cook, BJ Gadson, Jackson McCullough, and Caden Godwin.
