Oliver Brings Home The Gold

Rachel Oliver, the 16 year old daughter of Joy and Andy Oliver, brought home the gold after winning 1st Place All-Around in  Level 7 at the AAU Junior Olympic National Championships. The national event was held June 24-28 in Savannah, Georgia at the Savannah Civic Center.

Rachel also won 2nd place silver medals on the vault and balance beam and 3rd place bronze on the bars. Over 1,500 gymnasts from 22 states competed in the event.

Rachel is a member of the Bainbridge Gymnast-A-Cats and is coached by Melynda Murkerson.
