Jeff Summerlin 's Hunting Retriever Champion "Hunter" finished first in the master division of the 1st Annual Okefenokee Ducks Unlimited Retriever Challenge held March 1st in Waycross, Ga.

Jeff Summerlin of Bainbridge, who also owns Flint River Retrievers & Supplies stated Hunter was handled by long time friend and trainer Frank Farley of Smithville, Ga.

Flint River Retrievers was established in 1999 offering obedience classes, basic and advanced retriever training, and boarding. They specialize in AKC and HRC hunt test.

They travel the tri-state area in the spring and fall competing in these real hunt situation tests. Summerlin says it gives him and his dogs something to do during the off season and the whole family enjoys going along for the ride.
