As the week started the little tykes of the U4 soccer league got things going with two games full of up and down energy.  Under the watchful eye of their coaches, the little guys and girls demonstrated their skills.  Up next was the U6 kids.  In an exciting game the Red played the Green.  Alex Soden, and Anthony Hammonds both scored goals.  In the other U6 game the Blue played the Yellow.  Julian Martin and Blade Thomas scored for the Blue team while Austin Aldridge punched in for the Yellow.

As the time sped by the U8 players took the field to display their skill learned over the years.  As the Blue played the Yellow team Jacob Sego, and Sam McRae each scored for the Blue while Ricky Hughes scored for the Yellow.  Elsewhere in the U8 division Nathaniel Lambert led the Purple team with help from Logan Jones, and Blake Daughtry.  The Boyett boys, Matthew and Nicholas made the Red team proud.  Closing out the evening for the U8's the Green Team's Kennedy Crump showed the excellent skills he has learned.

In the U10 division the Blue team behind the accurate shooting of Austin McQuaid and Alex Ward, defeated a strong Red team led by Evan Oldaker, Josh Carnes, and Marlee Massengill.  In the nightcap The Yellow team tied the White team.  The Yellow team was led by Chase Harris and Anderson Bailey, each scoring one goal.  The White team saw Brent Warr and Jacob Sego knock in a goal apiece.  Defensively Kirstin Baldwin played a solid goalie for the White team.

Next up were the U12's.  In the lone game the Blue team snuck by the White team with a 2-1 victory.  Stanton Long, and Dylan Harrell each scored a goal for the Blue, while Noah Thorn scored for the White.

Are you ready for some football?  While the older groups went through their final preparations, the 5-6 year olds played some flag football.  In a rivalry game the Cowboys played the Eagles.  Sabion Worlds produced a highlight reel game, while Desmond Thomas showed his skills.  In a game later in the week the Cowboys were back to play the Falcons.  Behind Will Kelley and Shareef Bobb the Falcons demonstrated a strong running game.  The Cowboys not to be out done proved they were up to the task as well with touchdowns from Conner Strickland, and Marcus Davis.

Each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday there are games taking place at the YMCA, so be a stranger come by and catch the cheerleaders rooting on their team or the goalie making an acrobatic save.
