Actual Video of Burglary/Arson

This is the surveillance video of the burglary and arson by Shawn Keith Smith on June 24 at 515 Bethamy Church Road.  Sheriff Wiley Griffin asks if you have any information on the car or the female in the vehicle please contact the Sheriff's Office at 229-248-3044 or the form linked below.

The video also clearly shows the value of video at a business or home to identify the suspect.  This is a 4 cam video put together as one video with much of the time cut out.

After kicking the door in and burglarizing the house, about 1 minute into the video, you can see the female in the car point out the camera to him.   Smith will then move his car and enter the house for about 2 minutes.  A couple of minutes later. he will check on the fire.  Smoke is visible at that point in the attic.
