Sheriff's Investigator Pat Trolinger has recovered this TV and it does not have a home. If you, or someone you know, has had a 32" Panasonic Viera TV stolen, please contact the Sheriff's office via the contact form linked below or call 229-248-3044. It was found during a traffic stop.
Last Tuesday, Sheriff's Sgt Jason Williams spotted a car speeding at about 95 mph on Highway 27. The driver, Toshambi Osborne agreed to a search of the car. Sgt. Pat Trolinger and Cpl. Kyle Duke arrived on the scene to assist and Sgt. Trolinger found almost an ounce bag of marijuana under the back seat.
Toshambi Osborne admitted the marijuana was his and the other 3 occupants were off the hook. Then, in the trunk of the car, Sgt. Trolinger found the 32" TV and asked Toshambi where it came from.
Toshambi said some guys in Attapulgus were pushing it along the road in a grocery cart. He said they were obvious crack users and he bought the TV from them for $75.
GSP Cpl Kyle Duke also performed a field sobriety on Toshambi. Cpl Duke stated Toshambi was under the influence of drugs and he admitted he had just smoked marijuana 2 hours ago.
In all, 20 year old Toshambi Racuiel Osborne of East Water Street was arrested for DUI, speeding and possession of marijuana.
