The recent burglaries at Las Lomas and Carters Chicken have been solved primarily due to fingerprint analysis, according to Public Safety Investigator James Dollar.

Investigator Dollar pulled several good prints from the Las Lomas burglary and took them to the Thomas County Sheriff's Departments Latent Fingerprint Identification Lab.  They matched the prints to 43 year old Patrick B. Moore.  Blood evidence was also collected at the scene that could be matched to the suspect.

Investigator Dollar is familiar with Mr Moore and identified him on the surveillance tape and proceeded to arrest Patrick Moore.  A witness also reported "short black male with a crowbar, who walks with a limp" committed the burglary.

In his interview, Moore admitted to the burglary of Las Lomas and then admitted to also helping in the Carters burglary.  Moore told Investigator Dollar that in that burglary, 2 other guys pried the drive thru window open.  With Moore being 5'2" and 125 pounds, they paid him $10 to go through the window and open the back door.

The Carters burglary was on May 6 and it appears Patrick Moore decided he could do it all by himself.  The next day, the Las Lomas burglary occurred.

Patrick Bouvier Moore of 1301 E Broughton Street was charged with burglary.
