Gail Sharber, Pilot Club of Bainbridge, was recently installed as Governor for the Georgia District, Pilot International. Mrs. Sharber will be installed to the Board of Directors of Pilot International later in the month at the Pilot International Annual Leadership Confernce in Las Vegas, NV.
The Georgia District Convention was held at the Marriott Atlanta Gwinett Place in Duluth, Ga. The theme for the Installation Banquet was "Pouring Friendship and Service" during which the Georgia District Officers accepted their duties.
Pilot Club of Bainbridge members attending the convention were Catherine Catledge, Emily Yent, Virginia Smith, Emma Wacasser, Karon Elwell, Carolyn Thompson, Mary Gibson, and Lisa Jarrell.
Mary Gibson, Pilot Club of Bainbridge, was installed as the Georgia District Secretary at the Installation Banquet.
Family members and friends of both Mrs. Sharber and Mrs. Gibson were also in attendance.
Pilot International, a global organization of approxiamately 25,000 adult and youth members who are working together to improve the quality of life in local communities and throughout the world.
Pilot's service focus is helping people affected by brain-related disorders and disabilites through volunteer activities, projects, and fundraisers.
