The Interact Club at Bainbridge High School, sponsored by Bainbridge Rotary Club, recently participated in the Souper Bowl of Caring.

The Interact Club is a service oriented student organization that participates in on campus projects such as Red Ribbon Week and campus clean up days but extends to community activities such as adopting a family for Christmas, Souper Bowl of Caring and Kids Against Hunger.
With a membership of twenty, this club localized support during the Super Bowl XLIV season and presented Decatur County Family Connection’s Hunger Prevention Coalition with $1103.67 and 165 pounds of food. Souper Bowl of Caring is a national youth-led movement joining many organizations to fight hunger and poverty on the local level transforming the biggest football weekend into the largest weekend of giving and serving. And the best part is 100% of all donations, food and financial, remain in the local community.
