Recent correspondence from Keep America Beautiful to KDCB Executive Director Suzanne Brandt stated, "The quality and integrity of the entire Keep America Beautiful network of local affiliates is based on community action and accountability. Even though local programs are adapted to meet the particular needs of a community, all programs must meet certain reporting requirements. In addition to completing your Annual Report, you have also fulfilled all accompanying requirements for good standing which include: maintaining an active Board/Advisory Council, attending 6 hours of training in the last twelve months, remaining current with your Network Service Fees and completing your 2009 Semi-Annual Report. Therefore your affiliate is receiving the 2009 President’s Circle Recognition Award."
"We are grateful we were able to fulfill the requirements again to receive the President's Circle Award. Everything we have achieve has been only possible because of the hard work of our volunteers. 2010 will be an exciting year as we move forward with a new structure and Board of Directors." Brandt stated.
