Collins Wins Lions Club Fund Raiser

There are some big bucks around town.

Thursday morning Marilyn Collins was the lucky winner of $1,000 in Bainbridge Bucks after having her name was drawn for the Bainbridge Lions Club raffle. Several of the Lions Club members gathered at the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce for the event.

Following the drawing, Lions Club President, Ken Markham hand delivered the winnings to Collins.
 

On hand for the drawing were: front Keith Lyle, Evelyn Clay, Ken Markham. 2nd row: Gean Hendrix, Jim Beck,Bruce Mann. 3rd row: Harrell King and Cindy Markham. Back row: Andrew Heard and Randy Dunlap.
"I really appreciate the support of the community and the hard work of the Lions Club members." Markham said. "This has been a wonderful fund raiser for us and will help us make a difference in the community." By using Bainbridge Bucks the $1,000 prize money will remain in the community.
