Recently at West Bainbridge Elementary, Mrs. Gardner’s Reading Class  worked on Expository Text. They read a passage about binoculars and the class used real binoculars to explore the playground.

Aldolfo Izaguirre, Bruce Gadson, Samantha Rabon,  Lyric Butler, Dylan Mirick, (back) Cesar Balderas as they explore their surroundings.

After they finished, they created pictures of the objects they looked at before and after they used the binoculars to show magnification.  A few of the students presented their findings on the WBE-TV morning news broadcast with Mrs. Matthews, Principal.
