Local veterans were honored with a hot dog and hamburger cookout held by the Bainbridge Career Center on Wednesday November 12th.

This was the first such event that not only recognized area veterans but also provided those veterans seeking employment with a very informal setting to speak with local employers.

Terry Cook, the Bainbridge Career Center's Local Veteran's Employment Representative, chaired the first time event. Approximately 50 area veterans and their families took advantage of the opportunity.
