After more than a year in the making the Bainbridge College 35th Anniversary Cookbook is off the press and selling like hotcakes – a great holiday gift and keepsake. In addition to several locations in town, it will be sold during the downtown Holiday Open House 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 23 and at Swine Time Nov. 29.

Bainbridge College 35 Years & Still Cookin’ is called “A Celebration of recipes, photos and memories.” With more than 380 recipes from many members of the community and from the college family, the cookbook provides a wide variety of dishes and more.

The spiralbound volume includes memories from Founding President Dr. Ed Mobley and an updated guide to a walking tour of Main Campus by Dr. Ray Chambers, a charter faculty member. The guide describes not only buildings and memorials but also the nature trail.

A fund-raising project of the Bainbridge College Ambassadors, the book sells for $15. Proceeds go the Ambassadors’ endowed scholarship. Checks should be made to the BC Foundation with note “for cookbook.”

Ambassadors Chair Betty Jackson , on right, presented a volume to the BC Library Nov. 13. She and the other Ambassadors worked closely on the project with Library Director Susan Ralph, who spearheaded the effort.

The cookbook is available in the BC Library (248-2590), the BC Communications Office (248-2596), and at various locations in Bainbridge, including the Welcome Center and the Chamber of Commerce.
