South Georgia Heat Takes Second

South Georgia Heat took second place in an ASA fastpitch 14 under softball tournament in Tifton, Georgia.  The second place finish qualified them for the Georgia ASA 14 under Fastpitch Tournament.

They will be going to the 2008 UFA World Series and will play July 14 - 19 in Dalton, Georgia. Coach Bennett said, "The girls played hard and had some come from behind wins." They lost the Championship game 4 -1 in seven innings.
