Bainbridge College’s Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program students expanded their perspectives by traveling to Atlanta during Spring Semester to visit the Shepherd Spinal Center and the State Capitol. The 19 students, from Bainbridge, Blakely, Cairo and Thomasville, and three LPN faculty members toured the Shepherd Center, where they learned about its facilities and spinal injuries, said LPN Assistant Professor Michele Miller, who led the field trip with Assistant Professor Wanda Green and Instructor Lorie Knight. It was coordinated to correspond with the annual LPN Day at the Capital.
