Leanna Flowers finished first place in the Region 8 Level 8 Regional Competition held May 3-4 in Chattanooga, TN.
 
Gymnasts from 8 states competed in the competition.  The states represented were: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.  
   
Leanna's scores and places were as follows: 
Vault: 9.35 first place 
Bars: 9.15 fourth place 
Beam: 9.05 third place 
Floor: 9.325 fifth place 
All-around: 36.875 first place

Leanna trains at Murkerson's Gym and is coached by Melynda Murkerson.
