Tennis Anyone?

Adult Beginning Lessons

You're never to old to learn and now you can learn how to play tennis in 6 weeks! In this class you will learn the basic fundamentals as the serve, ground strokes and volleys in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. This class is for adults with little or no tennis experience and for those that are returning back to the game. Loaner racquets will be provided.
COST:  $35 for a 6 week session
Friday: 3:30-4:30 pm or Wednesday: 6:00-7:00pm.

Junior Team Tennis

If you are interested in playing Junior Team Tennis, which is similar to little league for baseball, than sign up for Bainbridge’s spring junior team tennis league. It will begin on Wednesday, April 30. This is a 4 week program that will be played at 3:30 – 5:00 pm on Wednesdays.

Each player will need to fill out a registration form or pick one up at the tennis center. Return your registration form to the Bill Reynolds Tennis Center by the deadline for sign-up, Friday April 27.

Each player is responsible for obtaining a USTA Jr. Membership. This can be done at USTA.com or 1-800-990-USTA. The junior membership cost $18.00 and through this membership each player receives a monthly "Tennis” magazine and is eligible to play in USTA sanctioned tournaments and other Team Tennis leagues for one year.

Remember, the player will be unable to register for a team without a current USTA membership number. Each player is required to pay an online fee of $12.  This $12 is an USTA league TennisLink user fee.

In addition, non-members of the Bill Reynolds Tennis Center ONLY are required to pay $20 for the league. All checks MUST be made payable to “The City of Bainbridge” and MUST be turned in at the Bill Reynolds Tennis Center. Cash is also accepted. Credit Cards are not accepted. More information about Junior Team tennis is available on the BTA website.
