Taryn Brown is the new Youth Services/Community Relations Librarian at the Gilbert H. Gragg Library. She officially began on March 18th.

Ms. Brown was most recently with the Leon County Library where she served as the Information Professional and prior to that with the Orlando Public Library as the Community Relation Librarian.

Ms. Brown is excited about being in Bainbridge and the programs that the library has available. She is looking forward to getting out in the community and speaking at various meetings, about all the library has to offer.

Ms Brown stated, "There's so much available at the library and everything is free. The resources, meeting room and computer classes to increase technology as well as the children's and adult programs."

On April 15th at 10 am, Mitchell May from the Decatur County Extension office will be presenting 'Bugs in Your Garden'. Dr. Walter Tschinkel, FSU entomologist and author of The Fire Ant, will be at the library on May 2nd at 4:00 pm.

Stop in and welcome her to the community.
