It was all cheers as 100 girls ended their three days at Cheer Camp with demonstrations of what they had learned for their families and friends. The camp is sponsored by the Bainbridge High School Varsity Competition/Football Cheerleaders and is their biggest fund raiser of the year. This was also the largest camp they have ever had according to Sheri Dunn-Ulm, the BHS coach.

The older girls practicing their cheers

Those attending the camp, which ran from July 11-13 for 3 hours each day, ranged in age from 3 to 11. They were taught chants, cheers, stunts, dance and gymnastics by the high school cheerleading squad.

Showing off what they learned

The 21 members of the BHS Varsity Competition/Football Cheerleaders and 2 managers did a great job with the little cheerleaders. Everyone benefited from the camp, the campers have new skills and friends and the BHS Cheerleaders have much needed funds.
