HMS Infested With Arthropods

Hutto Middle School was the host for the fifth annual Natural Science Museum.

Over 1200 Decatur County elementary and middle school students and parents toured the museum.  The exhibition featured nearly 200 arthropods.
 

Caleb Ford, Christopher Kegler, Macy Phillips, and Blair Nix

Seventh grade students researched insects, crustaceans, centipedes, millipedes, or arachnids of their choice.  Each student completed a research packet, paper, and model.

The students demostrated great creativity by using items such as a vacuum cleaner, a football, a shovel, an egg carton, and roster pans.
