Zorro near death
Remember Zorro? He was rescued for a house on Henry Lane in June.  See story Zorro was given a chance thanks to letter carrier, Amy Ard, who cared enough to call and Lt. Ashley, with the Sheriff's Deputies who followed up.

Zorro has spent the last several months at the Humane Society where he was given food, water, care and love. While that saved his life he was displaying signs of becoming 'cage crazy'.

He was days away from death when Lt. Ashley rescued him. Zorro was at the house with no food or water, chained to a fence, covered in fleas.

I'm going to make it!

Now Zorro is in Louisiana.
His new Foster 'parents' and a new brother drove here from Louisiana to pick him up and take him to start a new life.

At left, Zorro's new owners

Lots of people were involved in saving this life.
Many thanks to them all.
