Tony Davis with Sgt Henley

Tony Davis was arrested Thursday night for Battery-Family Violence and 2 counts of obstruction.

A women called 911 reporting she had been beat up by her boyfriend Tony Davis at her home in the Shady Oaks Trailer Park on East River Rd.  When Public Safety responded, Davis had left.

As Captain Black was driving away from the park, noticed a male walking along the road back towards the park.  When Sgt Daniel Henley came along, the male was gone and stopped to look for him.  Tony Davis was seen laying in the ditch and then took off running into the woods.

A few minutes later, PSO Anthony Mims went back to the trailer in the park and Tony Davis came walking up.  He was again ordered to stop but he took off into the woods again.  Officers Mims, Sgt Henley and  and Officer Bo Harrell took off after him.

After a short chase through the wooded area, Tony Davis was caught and arrested.  It was reported he struck his now ex-girlfriend several times knocking her down which resulted in the charge of battery.
