Deputy Killed in Tragic Crash, Memorial Book

Sheriff's Investigator Melonie Wood and Regina Daniels of Donalsonville GA were killed in a one car crash in Tifton on Friday evening.  The crash occurred at about 8pm.

Melonie Wood, 33, and her passenger, Regina Daniels, 39, were traveling to Hazlehurst to spend some Christmas time with her family.

Regina Daniels also served the citizens of her community, Donalsonville and Seminole County.  She was an EMT with Seminole County EMS.  Our prayers and sincere condolences to their families and Melonie's entire law enforcement family.

 A Memorial Guest book for Melonie Wood has been set up in the lobby of the Decatur County Sheriff's Office on Airport Road.

Funeral, Tuesday, December 23, 2 pm
Wainright/Parlor Funeral Home, Hazlehurst, GA

Regina Daniels visitation is Sunday, December 21, 6 to 8 pm at Colquitt Funeral Home.
Funeral is Monday, December 22, 2 pm.
Interment at Eternal Rest Memorial Gardens.
