Dominos Carjack Arrests Made

Public Safety has announced the arrest of 3 of the 4 males involved in the Dominos Carjacking on Thanksgiving Eve.

On November 21, at approximately 9 pm, a Domino's Pizza Delivery person was robbed at gunpoint by 4 males on Booker Street.

During the robbery, the victim was assaulted and the victim's vehicle, personal items, money and the ordered pizzas were stolen.

Investigator James Dollar was notified and began the investigation.  Chief Investigator Frank Green notified Special Agent Mike Walsingham of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Thomasville Office, who agreed to assist in the investigation.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Investigator Dollar and Special Agent Walsingham have arrested 3 Bainbridge youths and the 4th remains at large with warrants for the same charges as the 3.  He is identified as
21 year old Lucious Gregory Sparkman of 131 Ansley Street

The investigation was a collective effort involving Bainbridge Public Safety Investigators James Dollar, Chris Jordan, Mark Esquivel, Alton Brock, Director of Public Safety Larry Funderburke, as well as Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agents Mike Walsingham and Wes Horne.

Chief Investigator Frank Green said, "This was an excellent investigative effort by all involved and demonstrates what can be accomplished when people work as a team". "The officers involved in this case worked exhaustively, with enormous dedication to their profession and brought about a great resolution to this tragic incident".
