District Attorney Joe Mulholland was featured on Fox News Sunday, November 27, with Eric Shawn regarding his prosecution of 12 persons charged for voter fraud in Brooks County.  The alleged voter fraud occurred in Quitman Georgia in the July 20th primary election where 979 absentee votes were cast and counted.

Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Georgia Secretary of State's Office, Georgia State Patrol, Brooks County Sheriff's Office and Quitman Police Department arrested ten(10) individuals on December 21, 2010, as a result of a five-month voter fraud investigation.

According to District Attorney Mulholland, 3 of the 12 were the elected officials and 9 were friends or family that aided in the scheme and noted the election ballot is sacrosanct.

The Valdosta Daily Times reported the vote counts saying that after the county's 979 absentee votes were counted, the incumbents all lost.
