A pizza delivery driver was carjacked at gunpoint about 9 pm Wednesday evening, November 21.

The driver had a delivery on Booker Street and when she pulled up to the house, a male on the porch waved her into the driveway.

Above, the delivery was going to what turned out to be a
vacant house at the end of a dark Booker Street.

When she got out of her car, 3 black males with masks and a pistol came from the bushes and assaulted her, hitting her in the face and pushing her to the ground.  The 4 took off in her Isuzu Rodeo heading towards West Street.

Public Safety searched the area for hours and Sheriff's Deputies took positions on highways leading out of Bainbridge but there was no sign of the car.

Booker Street is located off Burgess Street which runs off of West Street, close to John Johnson School.

On Thursday night about 11:30 pm, a citizen reported the car abandoned about 5 blocks away.  It was at Alabama and Stinson Street, on the other side of West Street.  The case was turned over to Investigator James Dollar.
