Friday evening a hispanic male was shot in his foot after his apartment front door was crashed in on Palm Street.

At about 11 pm, a hispanic male reported he was laying on his bed near the front door of his apartment.  The bottom of his front door was kicked in and he took off running towards the back of the apartment.  A shot rang out and struck him in the foot.

Investigators recovered a 22 caliber bullet that came to rest lodged in the victims shoe.  The apartment complex at 909 Palm Street is primarily hispanic.

Witnesses reported they had seen 3 black males around the complex.  The 3 went into the hallway next to the apartment and a minute later a shot rang out.

The 3 males then fled from the scene.
