A 65 year old man was killed after a collision with a semi just after 10 am Friday morning.

Scene of the Fatality
Thomas Bryant, 65, of Brinson Street in Bainbridge was traveling west on Dothan Road on his bicycle.  BPS Officer Alton Brock reported that a semi, driven by Lee Birdsong, pulled up to Dothan Road to leave Dollar Farm Products.

There were no vehicles approaching and Mr Birdsong did not see the bicyclist traveling on the side of the east bound lane.   The semi began a right turn onto Dothan Road when the bicycle struck it at the rear of the truck cab.  Mr Bryant was pronounced dead at the scene.
