Tommie Howell recognized the Region Champions Boys and Girls Track Teams. He congratulated them saying that with the increase in the size of our region, he knew championships would be tougher and was very proud of them.

Steve Bench, BOE Energy Conservation Officer, stated the goal was to save $1 million in 4 years.

He reported to the board that in the 39th month, the goal has been achieved. Mr Bench stated that he hoped students have seen what can be achieved because, whether they know it or not, energy conservation and renewable energy is "the defining issue of their life".
