2nd Meth Lab Arrest Made

On Tuesday morning, Sheriff's Captain Chip Nix arrested 23 year old Joshua Buckhaulter as a 2nd participant in the meth lab that exploded last week.  He, along with the severely injured Jeffery Parker, had been under investigation for several weeks for the production of methamphetamine.

Joshua Buckhaulter was busted in April for a rolling meth lab.  Public Safety stopped him on Calhoun Street and discovered a live cook in the car.  On that occasion the meth was cooking in a plastic bottle.

Buckhaulter had been inside the home at the time of the explosion.  It is believed that he had dropped Jeff Parker off at the hospital and left.

Joshua Brian Buckhaulter, 23, of 201 Hales Landing Road was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, 2 counts of cruelty To A child and possession Of ephedrine.
